Since working with Helen, all our business operations have been realigned to encompass environmental considerations. Helen has been working for Cambridge University Press, as our Environmental Consultant since 2006. The brief to help us establish an Environmental Management System ( EMS) and help us gain ISO 14001 certification.

I am pleased to say by 2007 we had our EMS in place and in July of the same year, we achieved our ISO 14001 certification.
In 2008 we won the top prize, of Green Champion at the Green Apple Awards, which would not have been so achievable without Helen’s invaluable involvement with the Press.

The first challenge I had was finding a consultant that had an excellent understanding of both EMS, and ISO 14001, who also had the experience of implementing such for other clients, but very important who I felt was able to communicate it in terms that everyone would understand. Once this was achieved with Helen now on board, what seemed to complicated challenge now became so much easier.
